Spring Maintenance Reminders

1) Help out pollinators by holding off on your garden cleanup until temperatures are consistently above 50 degrees Fahrenheit — usually late April/early May. Learn more.

2) Clean your gutters and redirect your downspouts to help protect our local waters — and your basement!

3) Grab a discounted rain barrel or compost bin from the Recycling Association of Minnesota’s annual sale.

4) Yard waste collection begins for the season April 8. Set yard waste out in a reusable container, compostable bags (paper or certified compostable plastic – look for the BPI logo), or bundled with string or twine.
